Training courses and continuing courses for private guards and community officers have been  suspended until further notice. The suspension until further notice affects courses which private guards and community officers are required to attend in order to renew their licences as guards or officers.  Instead, those licences of private guards and community officers which would have expired with effect from 1st March, 2020 have been automatically extended until further notice, but will nevertheless eventually be renewed in accordance with the Private Guards Regulations and the Community Officers Regulations.
