This Legal Notice has added new provisos to Schedule A to the Code of Organization and Civil Procedure.

Following the closure order of the law courts, the fees for the opening of the registry outside working hours, amounting to €205, are being charged by the courts in order to file a request to open the registry and file judicial acts. According to Legal Notice 61 of 2020, the registry can only be opened for urgent matters and matters of public interest.

According to this legal notice 137, this fee is being “waived” for the filing of actions for:

• Personal separation
• Divorce
• Annulment
• Maintenance
• Filiation
• Paternity
• Child abduction
• Child custody
• Acts filed by a curator
