In addition to those vehicles which may be tested at VRT stations in terms of Legal Notice 102 of 2020, roadworthiness tests may only be carried out on the following vehicles:

• used imported motor vehicles prior to their first registration with Transport Malta,
  • motor vehicles garaged prior to 20^th March 2020 and whose owners require the issue of new registration plates and new vehicle licenses so that the         garaged vehicles can be placed on the road once again,
• vehicles whose licence expired prior to 20^th March 2020, and
• vehicles requiring a roadworthiness certificate in view of being transferred to a third party.
