MARIJA CARUANA 

Marija joined the firm in December 2015. She presently handles property law and intellectual property matters for the firm's clients.

She was conferred with a Doctor of Laws degree by the University of Malta in December 2015 after submitting her thesis entitled ‘The Treaty of Lisbon: A step forward for Children?’ for which she received the Prof David J Attard Best Doctor of Laws Thesis Award.

In March 2016, she was admitted to the Maltese Bar and is a member of the Chamber of Advocates.

She furthered her studies by obtaining the Foundation Certificate in Trusts Law and Management in July 2017 and by successfully completing the EUIPO Trade Mark and Design Education Programme in June 2021.
