This legal notice creates a proviso to the obligations imposed in terms of Legal Notice 40 of 2020 by granting the Superintendent of Public Health the absolute discretion to suspend the provisions of that legal notice or to provide of other conditions in the case of quarantine of certain persons providing an essential service. This is carried out by a notice in the Government Gazette.
